I have shared with you several Philosophy products that I have used for many years that are some of my favorites.
Well this year Philosophy not only is celebrating it’s HAPPY 16th they also have some great new products. One of those new products I have recently tried, it is The Microdelievery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel.
The pre-saturated chemical peel pads come in their own sealed pouch and you get 12 in a box.
The peel was created to deliver skin-brightening benefits and is perfect for those concerned with pigmentation, discoloration and even signs of past acne. It is great for those that prefer a non-abrasive chemical peel. My skin looked glowing after I used it. I usually used it right after I shaved, it tingled a little but my skin looked so good after.
It is intended as a weekly peel that you will use in the evening, right after cleansing. You will swipe the pad all over your face, avoiding the eye area. After 3 to 5 minutes you will rinse and follow with your serum, moisturizer and eye cream. They also suggest that you may use their Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash in between weekly peels as a gentle exfoliation to maintain softness. Do Not use any other peel product during the same time you are using this product as it is too much for your skin.
The Microdelivery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel has three acids it uses in this peel.
Mandelic Acid which is derived from the bitter almond, and has reduced risk of irritation like traditional alpha hydroxy acids; Azelaic Acid is a direct tyrosinase inhibitor; Phytic Acid interrupts the function of tyrosinase to minimize dark spot formation. Both of the last two acids are natural skin brighteners. This peel is ideal for all skin tones and ethnicities. They are also free of parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol and NOT tested on animals.
